#65 Turkey Vulture

Turkey Vultures are nature’s clean-up crew. Flying low to the ground or above the trees in their characteristic wobble, these scavengers’ sense of smell allows them to find carrion from far away. They have extremely acidic stomachs, and can digest just about anything without getting sick – tuberculosis, botulism, anthrax, rabies – and in turn those diseases don’t spread from the carcasses they pick apart.
